Community Workshops on Bond Development Projects

Starting the third week of March, the City of Austin will go “into the community” to host project-specific workshops around town. These workshops will provide residents with the opportunity to learn about potential bond projects, “Spend the City’s Money” in a fun group exercise and interact one-on-one with City staff.

Events will take place on:

• Tuesday, March 20 from 6:30 – 8:30 PM, First Evangelical Free Church, 4220 Monterey Oaks Blvd, Austin, TX78749
• Wednesday March 21 from 6:30 – 8:30 PM, Gus Garcia Recreation Center, 1201 E. Rundberg Ln., Austin, TX 78753
• Monday, March 26th from 6:30 – 8:30 PM, Dove Springs Recreation Center, 5801 Ainez Dr., Austin, TX 78744
• Saturday, March 31 from 2:00 - 4:00 PM, Anderson High School, 8403 Mesa Drive,  Austin, TX 78759

Attendees should arrive at the beginning of the meeting, as the exercise lasts for the entire time allotted. Residents unable to attend are invited to join the community’s conversation on SpeakUpAustin.org or by contacting the City through one of the several methods listed on AustinTexas.gov/BondDevelopment.
